The Faculty of Architecture Y Block, located on the Istanbul Aydın University campus, is situated in the Beşyol neighbourhood of Küçükçekmece, Istanbul.
After an intensive and disciplined process of approximately six months, the project was completed and opened for use in September. In this project, we undertook the architectural works as well as the electrical infrastructure and superstructure works.
We brought the design decisions to life on site with technical accuracy and precise execution.
The building consists of seven floors including the basement and roof floor; with floors of approximately 550 m² each, it has an implementation area of approximately 4,000 m².
Today, the Faculty of Architecture serves as an active, living educational space: students walk its corridors, projects are discussed in its studios, and lessons are taught in its classrooms.
